Jeremy Irvine Rides His 'War Horse' To Hump Day Hottie Status

We kind of have a thing for Brits here at Hollywood Crush. So, in keeping with our time-honored tradition of naming them Hump Day Hotties, this week we are showing some love to "War Horse" star Jeremy Irvine, who is trotting along and quickly winning our hearts.
Check out this dreamy photo of Jeremy and keep reading for more details about him!
Vital stats: The 21-year-old grew up in Cambridgeshire, England. He studied his craft at National Youth Theatre and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He eventually dropped out of drama school and is now on the rise thanks to a high-profile role in the Steven Spielberg-directed film.
"The whole thing isn’t real to me yet. I’m still trying to take it in. I came from having no lines in the theatre to this," he recently told British newspaper The Mirror. "I wasn’t even getting call backs for commercials, so it has changed everything. How on Earth I managed to get into this movie is beyond me. I have no idea. I come from a small village in Cambridgeshire where not many people have gone on to do stuff like this."
Where you might have already seen him: As you probably surmised from Jeremy's comments above, the actor is still kind of a newbie. Aside from his work in theater (he was in the Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of “Dunsinane” last year), he’s only also appeared in the TV series "Life Bites."
Why you should take notice of him now: With the main role of Albert in the big-screen adaptation of "War Horse," Jeremy’s star is definitely on the rise. The film opens Christmas week, but is already garnering critical and Oscar buzz.
He’s set to star in a number of other dramas too, including the Dakota Fanning flick “Now Is Good,” “Great Expectations” and “The Railway Man,” where he’ll play the younger version of Colin Firth’s character. Not too shabby!
Until next week, when we choose another Hump Day Hottie, you can salute Jeremy by gawking at the image above!
