On the day RHOBH star Taylor Armstrong learned about her ex-husband’s suicide, she had little time to mourn as she had to find a way to tell her daughter, Kennedy. She tells all in a new Entertainment Tonight interview.
Nobody could imagine what Taylor Armstrong must have experienced the day Russell Armstrong committed suicide. While we’re sure it must have felt like the world around her crumbled, the housewife had to stay strong and keep it together for her 5-year-old daughter, Kennedy.
Taylor spoke with Nancy O’Dell an interview with Entertainment Tonight airing today, about the day she received the devastating news.
“I just told her Daddy got sick and he died, and that we could pick a star in the sky that could be Daddy and that she could talk to him every night,” she says.
But that’s not all the housewife reveals in the tell-all interview. She also speaks out about the abuse she endured with Russell throughout their marriage.
“He grabbed me by the neck and shoved me against the wall and he said, ‘If you ever make my children a pizza without a vegetable again, I’ll kill you,” she explains.
“You live your life constantly on eggshells waiting for the other shoe to drop. You don’t know if you’re gonna talk to your girlfriend too long at dinner and that’s going to cause someone to fly into a rage. I don’t think he saw himself as an abuser until the last time that he hurt me when I finally ended our relationship,” she says in the interview.
Wow! We can’t wait to see the full interview this evening!
